6 Homeopathic Remedies for Constipation

According to the Merck Manual constipation is defined as a difficult or infrequent passage of stool or a feeling of incomplete evacuation.  It is helpful to review the diet to ensure enough fiber is being taken, adequate exercise and water.  Animal products contain zero fiber and processed foods contain very little to any fiber.   Emotional problems can also influence the bowels.  The habit of taking laxatives can lead to a stagnation of the bowels.   Occasional constipation is not uncommon, should you suspect you have a deeper problem, contact your doctor.
